Technical issues have finally gotten the better of the qualifier and the first day is cut short, with the remaining games to be played at 17:00 tomorrow.
Squads such as Finest, fnatic and Falcons will have to wait to get their round-of-64 matches done.

Most of the final games of today are underway and a batch have just ended, with teams like MOUZ, Entropiq, Copenhagen Flames, and OG all making it to tomorrow.

Astralis make the tomorrow's phase of the qualifier with ease, their closest game coming in a 16-12 win against allStars in the round of 64.
Monte, who feature the likes of Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk and Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas, grabbed an upset win over SINNERS to make the round of 32.
23:35 Movistar Riders crash out
Movistar Riders suffer a 9-16 upset loss to Romanians INFINITE, earning the dubious honour of being the highest ranked team to be eliminated thus far. In their first outing since the departure of Álvaro "SunPayus" García, the Spaniards disappoint.
INFINITE move on to take on Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács's Sampi squad in the round of 64.
23:15 Games back underway
The ESEA website may still be struggling and GOTV may be down, but the games are back underway.
Some headline matchups in the round of 64 include Aleksi "allu" Jalli's new JANO squad taking on Endpoint and Astralis facing off against allStars.
22:15 Technical issues continue
ESEA are experiencing service issues and the GOTV relays are currently not working, so updates to this live post will be scarce for the time being.
22:05 First top 20 team eliminated as forZe crash out
Andrey "Jerry" Mekhryakov and co. become the first casualty of the top 20, the young Russian squad bombing out 14-16 at the hands of struggletony.
Elsewhere in the qualifier, Eternal Fire once again were forced to overtime, managing to squeak a 19-15 win over FANTASY on this occasion.

Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and co. find themselves eliminated in the round of 256, falling to AVANGAR 15-19 on Inferno.
100 ADR from Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson was not enough to save the Swedes.
21:30 SKADE eliminated by PROSPECTS in round of 256
The first major upset of the European open qualifier has happened, with world No. 36 SKADE bested 10-16 by No. 103 PROSPECTS.
Alexander "AlekS" Andersson was the MVP for his side, putting in a 100 ADR performance to help get his team over the line.
20:30 Eternal Fire survive scare in round of 512
Turkish fan-favourites Eternal Fire were made to work for it by Whois in the round of 512, needing overtime on Nuke to get over the line 19-16.
Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş was key in getting his team the win, grabbing 11 entry kills in the match.
19:54 No upsets yet as qualifier continues
The favourites have survived thus far in the open qualifier, with highest ranked team Astralis grabbing a comfortable 16-1 win.
Both big mixes, Benched Heroes and d00m, also made it through their opening games.
19:20 Technical issues hit round-of-512 matches
GOTV issues are currently hampering the qualifier, with ESEA tweeting that they are aware of the issue.
If streams are currently not showing matches, or the GOTV is lagging, it is likely due to this.
18:20 First round commences as bracket is released
The qualifier is up and running, with the bracket available here.
Some second round matchups are already known, with d00m, BenchedHeroes and Partizan already paired.
16:50 smooya and GeT_RiGhT enter mix-teams
Two high-profile mix-teams will be taking part in this qualifier, with Owen "smooya" Butterfield and GeT_RiGhT putting together squads. Both players will also be streaming their qualifying campaigns.

16:31 Check-in opens soon for the first European RMR qualifier
The long journey to qualify for the next Major begins today with the first round of the IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe Open Qualifier 1 kicking off at 18:00 .
Teams will battle through a single-elimination, best-of-one bracket all the way to the quarter-finals, where best-of-three series play will take over.
Astralis are the highest ranked team participating
With five spots for the Europe RMRs on the line, losers of the quarter-final matches will enter a 5th-8th place decider bracket to determine who takes the final RMR berth. There will also be a third-place decider match, for seeding purposes.
